Valley Forge Baptist

Our church began in the heart of Pastor Wendal soon after he was called into the ministry. He attained his Bachelor of Arts degree at Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri, in 1981. After completing a three-year internship in Fairfax, Virginia, Pastor Wendal came to the Valley Forge area in July 1984 to begin the Valley Forge Baptist Temple. It has been over 25 years now, and God continues to bless. Pastor Wendal and his wife, Jodie, have five children: Matthew, Jeremy, Megan, Scotty, and Amber.

Pastor Wendal has been on the Board of Trustees of Baptist International Missions, Inc. since 2001, and is now the Vice Chairman. He is also a contributor to ministry127.com, which is a resource for churches and pastors.

Pastor Sam Aylestock - Singles/Student Ministries

Pastor and Mrs. Aylestock came to the church in the summer of 1994. Pastor Aylestock enetered the ministry in 1978 after his graduation from Tennessee Temple University. After fifteen years of ministry in Virginia and one year of church planting in Canada, he joined VFBT to assist with the youth, visitation, and teaching ministry. He and his wife, Susan have one daughter, Jamie.

Pastor Lamar Eifert - Counseling/Adult Bible Fellowships

Pastor and Mrs. Lamar Eifert graduated from Cedarville College and came to VFBT in January 1993, moving from Maryland to Collegeville. While working for a major pharmaceutical company, the Lord called Pastor Eifert into full-time ministry, and he was ordained in May 2000. he is our counseling pastor and oversees our Sunday education departments. He is married to Ann, and they have three children, Eric, Kendra, and Allison.

Pastor Greg Joyner - Young Families/Outreach

Pastor Joyner married his high school sweetheart, Peggy, after attending Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina, majoring in Business Management. Pastor Joyner's family joined VFBT in October 1991. He responded to God's Call to full-time ministry while faithfully serving as a layman. He has a Biblical Studies degree from Trinity College and Theological Seminary with an emphasis in Biblical Counseling. Pastor and Mrs. Joyner have three children, Brandon, Jaynie, and Lauren.

Pastor Ron Coulton - Seniors/Comfort Ministries

Pastor Ron Coulton graduated from Kutztown University in 1975 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and from Biblical Seminary in 1981 with a Masters of Divinity in Pastoral Studies. In 1990 he entered the ministry as an itinerant evangelist. His family joined VFBT in January 1992. He served as a faithful deacon for 6 years before joining the pastoral staff in 2002. He and his wife, Pam, have two children, Grace and Ben.
