...Reformers Unanimous(RU) can help you conquer your Addictions, Stubborn Habits, and Strongholds.
Valley Forge Baptist is excited to announce a new ministry to help those who have been hurt, those who struggle, and for those who want to help a loved one who struggles with an addiction.
RU is a Christ centered addictions program that directs those struggling with life-dominating addictions back to God’s support group - the local church.
Life is too short, and your family is too precious, not to do something today.
What does RU Provide?
- A weekly meeting place in a safe environment for weekly accountability
- Prayer Support by caring and committed people who understand addictions
- Leaders trained in addiction recovery
- Instruction in Biblical truth
- Education through a working curriculum
- Meet award-based performance requirements
- Personal support through Christian fellowship
How can I Attend?
There is no pre-registration and no fee. Just arrive at 7 p.m. to see what an evening would be like
When does RU Meet?
Every Friday evening from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Valley Forge Baptist, beginning January 25.
Programs for children and teens are available. Child care and transportation are also provided.

Who is the Director?
Matt Manney
Matt Manney wants you to live free from addiction! A graduate of West Coast Baptist College in Lancaster, CA, he is involved in many of VFBTs various ministries. In addition to being the RU director, he has been on staff as a pastoral intern for the past 18 months. His wife, Amanda, is the K-5 teacher at Valley Forge Baptist Academy and was a member of North Love Baptist Church in Rockford, IL for many years. North Love is the founding church for Reformers Unanimous.
