Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world. - 1 John 4:4

Ministries

Junior Camp

Ever since our first Junior Camp in 1990, our 4th to 6th graders have been offered a wonderful camp week of excitement, fun games, good food, a wholesome atmosphere, and spiritual challenges.

Junior Churches

Children need to hear the Bible taught on their level. To meet this need, a Junior Church was started in 1991. Since that time, we’ve expanded into a number of Jr. Church classes based on age. Our tot-time is for 2-3 year olds, Junior Church I for 4 year olds through 1st grade, Junior Church II for the 2nd & 3rd grades, and Junior Church III for 4th through 6th grades. Puppets, fun songs, missionary stories, games, and preaching are all part of this exciting ministry.  more...

Kids Choir Club

This club’s goal is to encourage our primary age children (ages 4-11) to be consistent in their daily devotions and to practice obedience. The club meets every Sunday at 4:45 p.m and club members enjoy fun Bible lessons and playing games. The club also gives the children many service opportunities through speaking and singing performances and through other activites.

Ladies Ministry

The ladies here at VFBT know how to have a good time. From luncheons to Christmas House tours, the ladies fellowships are always a blessing to those who come.

M.O.M.S.

The Making Our Moms Special ministry encourages all mothers of preschoolers by meeting their distinct needs to the glory of Christ. We hold regular group meetings that include instruction relating to womanhood, marriage, child rearing, and the home from a Biblical perspective. We meet once a month and during each meeting we have a time of teaching, discussion, fellowship, and an occasional craft while child care workers provide care for all the children involved.

Master Clubs

Fun Activities and energetic games: Crafts, coloring pages for the younger children. Outdoor projects, Christian service, teaching, mailbox contest, household activities and much more for the older children.

Military Outreach

This ministry’s desire is to serve the families of those who serve our country by praying for them, encouraging them and providing resources for them. The ministry also reaches out to the servicemen with notes and care packages.

Nursery

Imagine trying to concentrate on the worship service over the crying of babies all over the auditorium! To avoid this difficulty, caring parents volunteer their time to serve us in the nursery. They are a blessing to all of us!

Prayer Partners

Jesus said: “My house shall be called the house of prayer.” Each October, those who wish to pray with a partner for a whole year receive the opportunity to sign up. Meeting twice a month, prayer partners pray for our pastor, our church and each other. God has marvelously blessed us with growth as a result!

Prime Timers

Our Prime Timers enjoy outings several times a year. From eating at Shady Maple Restaurant to a picnic under a pavilion, our Prime Timers enjoy good times of fellowship!
